will actually open.
Their schedule, the jobs, the plans, timesheets, variations, safety sign-offs and leave, on the phone in their pocket. Big buttons, plain words, nothing they don’t need.

A day on the tools, on their phone.
From first thing in the morning to knock-off, here’s what your crew sees and does.
1 of 7 · Today, on their phone
Less ringing round. More getting it done.
Tomorrow’s job, the address, the start time and who they’re with, before they leave the house.
Confirm the day in two taps. Stayed back? Add a row, so the extra hour goes on the job and on the pay.
The current drawings on their phone, so nobody frames off last month’s issue.
Log the variation, get the site manager to sign it on the spot. No arguing about it later.
See the annual leave balance and request leave from the app. The answer comes back to their phone.
Read and sign the SWMS on the phone, and keep their tickets and licences in one place.
What happens on site lands in the office.
Every hour, variation, photo and sign-off the crew puts in the app turns up against the job, ready for you to act on.
Timesheets come in against the job and cost centre they were spent on, so job margins are real, not guessed.
Every on-site variation arrives with the hours and the site manager’s signature, ready to price and invoice.
To-dos with notes and photos, assigned to a person, ticked off on site. You see what’s still open.
Frame checklists and other sign-offs done on the job, kept on the job.
Move a shift in the office and it moves on their phone. No group-chat roster.
The crew sees scope and quantities, never your rates, costs or sell prices.
What’s in the field app.
Day and week views, and who else is on each of their jobs over the next two weeks, with a tap to call or text.
End-of-day confirm with actual start and finish per entry, extra rows and notes. If a shift’s times were wrong they can fix them and say why, and the change is logged for the office.
Every active job with the address, the site contacts to call and everything below.
Every line item and quantity from the original quote, with no prices.
The job’s folders of plans and documents. Take a photo or add a file straight from the phone.
Notes, photos and to-dos for the team; tasks assigned to each person, from open to done.
Frame checklists and other QA sign-offs, filled in on site.
Hours by labour type, the site manager’s name and signature. The office does the pricing.
Review and sign SWMS with a finger signature; their licences and ID documents on file.
Annual leave balance as at the last pay run, leave requests and approvals.
In the phone app, a buzz when they’re put on a new shift and when their leave is approved or declined.
Each person signs in with their own email and password and can stay signed in on their phone.

The crew opens it on the phone they already carry. The App Store and Google Play versions are on the way; until then it runs in the phone’s browser and pins to the home screen like any other app.
The ones owners ask.
Can the crew see our prices?+
No. The field app shows the quoted scope as line items and quantities only, never your rates, costs or sell prices. On variations the crew logs the hours and the office does the pricing.
What do they need to sign in?+
Their own email and a password. Add them in Settings and XGrafter emails them their login details. They can stay signed in on their phone, so it opens straight to their schedule.
What phones does it work on?+
Any iPhone or Android phone. The App Store and Google Play versions are on the way; until then it opens in the phone’s browser and pins to the home screen like an app.
Who needs a field licence?+
Anyone on the tools who uses the app: $20 a month each on a 12-month term, and the first 2 are free. Office staff use the full platform with unlimited logins and don’t need one.
Can they see who they’re working with?+
Yes. Under their own schedule they see who else is on each of their jobs for the next two weeks, with a tap to call or text. They can’t browse other people’s schedules; owners and managers can look anyone up.
Is our crew’s information private?+
Yes. Every company’s records and files are locked to that company at the database level, and hosted in Australia.
Put it in your crew’s hands.
